For “by the sacrament of Confirmation, [the baptized] are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. Hence they are, as true witnesses of Christ, more strictly obliged to spread and defend the faith by word and deed.” (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1285)

The sacrament of confirmation completes the sacrament of baptism.

The program is coordinated by Laurie DiCianni with the assistance of the catechists. Our candidates discuss various aspects of morality, Scripture, the Sacraments, and Catholic living. They are required to complete 15 hours of community service a year. The candidates can choose from a list of service project ideas we offer on our website, or projects they find independently.
