Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit, and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons and daughters of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission..." (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1213).
We begin our life in Christ at Baptism. The sacrament of Baptism is celebrated on Sundays following the Noon Mass.
First-time parents are required to attend a Baptism Class. A preparation class for the parents of the children to be baptized is held the second Monday every other month at 7:00 p.m.
Please call the parish office and make arrangements to schedule your Baptism.
